Join us for an exciting day of fun and fellowship at Belle Isle! Everything starts at 2:30pm as we meet at the pavilion in front of the aquarium.
Families will love exploring the island's popular aquarium, conservatory, beautiful hiking trails, and four distinct playgrounds. Be sure to check out the Belle Isle Map for other places of interest.

Kayaking and Fishing Activities
Enjoy a free kayaking trip through the island’s beautiful inner lakes and rivers—perfect for all skill levels. If you prefer to stay on shore, bring your rod and reel for plenty of great fishing. We will have some extra available for those without fishing gear. Please note that anglers aged 17 and older will need a valid state fishing license. Come connect, relax, and enjoy God's creation together!
Church Family Dinner
Join us at 6:00 PM for our Church Family Dinner at the main pavilion in front of the Aquarium! Bring a picnic or grab dinner from the fantastic local food truck lineup. Enjoy savory options from Detroit Taco Factory, Chicken Coupe, Grilled Goodness, and The Terry Melt, then top off the evening with something sweet from Palazzolo's or Kids Row Ice Cream as we gather, fellowship, and share stories!
Transportation and Island Access
By Car (Recommended): Bringing a vehicle is recommended to easily explore the 2.5-mile island. Entry requires a Michigan Recreation Passport, which can be purchased at the gate for $15 if you don't already have one.
By Bus: We will provide transportation for non-drivers, leaving the church at 1:30 PM. The bus drops off right at the Conservatory and Aquarium for easy sightseeing, though exploring the rest of the island without a car will be limited. The bus departs Belle Isle at 7:00 PM.
